PUBLIC and media relations specialists Effective Communication the fastest-growing company of its kind in Wales has launched in Swansea.
Offering a full range of communications services to business across the region, Effective opened its Swansea office on September 8.
Now in its fourth year, the company founded by award-winning newspaper editor Alastair Milburn has a client list which includes the National Lottery in Wales, Principality Building Society, Careers Wales, Black Horse Retail Finance, McDonald's, Cancer Research Wales and the Welsh Football Trust.
Effective's rapidly-growing portfolio of healthcare clients includes the Independent General Practice which operates a surgery from the Sancta Maria Hospital in Swansea Nucleus Healthcare, The Orthodontic Centre and Spire Cardiff Hospital.
The new Effective Communication operation is based in Princess Way and run by Cathrine Harris, who was born and brought up in Swansea and lives in the Cwmdu area of the city.
A former pupil at Cwmbwrla Primary and Pentrehafod schools in Swansea, Cathrine gained a degree in English at Manchester University before completing a postgraduate diploma in public and media relations at Cardiff University.
For the past 12 months, she has worked for Effective Communication at its Cardiff office.
