A Carmarthenshire mother has turned her frustrations in not being able to find suitable alternatives to the jarred baby food into a new business venture by producing her own home-cooked organic baby food aimed at all those mums and dads on the run. Pure Organic Baby Food is the first company in Carmarthenshire to produce home-cooked organic baby food, which is delivered frozen straight to the customers' door throughout the Carmarthenshire and Swansea areas.
Pure Organic Baby Food prides itself on ensuring that all meals are free from added preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Non-GM ingredients will be used; and no salt or sugar is added to any of the dishes. Linda said "we try and source as many of our ingredients through local suppliers and, wherever possible, support local producers such as Daioni milk and Calon Wen Cheese to add that extra Welsh element to our dishes".
Targeting the busy mums and dads, Linda adds that "all meals are frozen on the day prepared and are delivered, frozen, directly to the customers door at a time suitable to them - including weekdays, evening or weekend delivery time. It couldn't be easier than popping them straight into the freezer until they're ready to be eaten!"
And just to offer that final seal of approval, Pure Organic Baby Food is licensed under the Soil Association. Linda said "it was important for the business to be able to demonstrate that we use 100% organic ingredients.
