A PORT Talbot company hopes to strike it rich after investing ?9,500 in Goldmine.
Blackbox-av ? which provides hi-tech audio-visual displays in museums and heritage sites across the UK ? has upgraded its customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Known as Goldmine, the programme will allow sharing of information right across the company structure and will greatly improve customer services and project delivery.
The investment was made possible with support from the Assembly Government.
Managing director of Blackbox-av, Jonathan Knight, said that practical support for small businesses was becoming increasingly important.
?It?s a difficult time for small business at the moment,? he said. ?Funding like this is essential to support small businesses in Wales. We?re already seeing the benefits.
?It?s saving huge amounts of time having all the systems in one place, and the ability to access the system remotely helps to a large extent when you are conducting business all over the UK.
?Perhaps the most important benefit, though, has been the impact on staff ? it?s reignited everyone to be using the system to the fullest extent.?
